When found in its fine quality form peridot transforms from the ugly pale yellow green stone to a magnificent grassy green. This 8.0 mm peridot weighs 3.99 carats, has eye-clean clarity (magnified photos or when using a loupe you will see a number of specks and lily-pad type inclusions often observed in peridot but these remain undetected by the naked eye), and a strong bright green color.
Vibrant sparks of emerald green, bright grassy green and golden yellow are noted throughout the peridot. A durable four prong setting offers a low setting height to protect the large stone and supply maximum light. The diamonds are highly rated VS1 FG quality and are 0.25 carats total weight.
The ring weighs a substantial 6.0 grams of platinum and is a size 7 (requests for resizing should be made on the order form).
