Description
One of my favorite stones is a blue zircon. Zircon is often misunderstood as it is not cubic zirconia but the natural gemstone that cubic zirconia was engineered after. Its exceptional brilliance and vivid blue hues makes the stone remarkable beautiful. Finding blue zircon with a strong primary blue color has become more difficult through the years but the Cambodian materials remains the finest.
This gorgeous round brilliant Cambodian blue zircon exhibits a very strong primary blue color with little to no green undertones. The zircon has excellent clarity, precision cutting, phenomenal brilliance (as evident in the photos), measures a large 8.0 mm round, weighs 3.74 carats and is prong set amidst a halo of round brilliant diamonds. The diamonds are 0.47 ctw, SI1 G and framed with migraine scallop edges for lovely gold work. The ring weighs 4.0 grams of 14K white gold and is a size 7 (please let us know your size preference on the order form).
