Back in the day (about 15 years ago), we used to find pockets of very bright and brilliant sapphire from the mines in Madagascar. This was one of those stones. So bright and brilliant a color you would be hard pressed to match. More bubblegum pink than red, but I still think some might call it a sapphire, while others would call it a ruby. In either case it’s a beautiful piece.
