Most don’t realize how difficult it is to find high quality sapphire of this size anymore. This large Ceylon purple/blue sapphire weighs 3.21 carats, measures approximately 9.0 mm round and is elegantly presented in this traditional styled halo diamond ring.
The sapphire elicits a strong rich primary purple color with a strong rich secondary blue hue. Excellent clarity and cutting join to unleash spectacular blinding brilliance filled with purple, blue and the occasional pink flash.
The sapphire is surrounded by a halo of round brilliant cut pave/bead or prong set diamonds. In addition there is a pair of fancy trapezoid cut diamonds that are 0.32 carats total weight. The ring has a total of 0.72 carats total weight in fine quality diamonds that are VS1 FG quality.
