Ceylon (Sri Lanka) is known for producing high-quality sapphires, so a heart-shaped faceted sapphire is a particularly valuable find. I have seen these stones used in rings, pendants, earrings, and even engagement rings. This particular sapphire was faceted in Sri Lanka and has no visible flaws to the naked eye.
