About 7 or 8 years ago they mined like crazy for sapphire on the island of Madagascar (an island country in the Indian Ocean, off the southeastern coast of Africa), they produced
a large quantity of fine fancy colored sapphires in a short period. Two of my favorites that they mined were the pink faceted sapphires and the blue star sapphires.
The pinks (like this one), have an almost electric radiance to them, with wild hues of pink and red. This stone is slightly included but it doesn’t take away from its natural beauty
