Unheated Lilac Sapphire & Diamond Ring – 0.65ct Montana Sapphire, Jeff White Cut, 14K White Gold, Art Deco Fishtail Setting
This gorgeous lilac sapphire is a rare and captivating find—its soft, medium lilac hue is both unique and highly sought-after in the world of fine gemstones. Expertly faceted by renowned gem cutter Jeff White, this unheated fancy round cut sapphire displays exceptional brilliance, excellent clarity, and the kind of precision cutting that brings the stone to life.
Mined in Rock Creek, Montana, the sapphire weighs 0.65 carats and measures 5.20mm, making it the perfect centerstone for this one-of-a-kind design. The setting is one of my favorites—an elegant nod to the Art Deco era, known as a fishtail setting, where intricate scrollwork in the gallery resembles delicate fish tails.
Flanking the sapphire are two sparkling diamonds, totaling 0.45 carats (SI1 clarity, G-H color), adding classic brilliance and balance to the design. Crafted in 14K white gold, the ring weighs 3.78 grams and is currently a size 6.5.
